PARTICIPANTS NEEDED
FOR RESEARCH ABOUT
MIDWIFERY CARE IN ONTARIO AND DISABILITY
Are You:
- A person who identifies (or may be identified) as disabled or Deaf?
- Someone who has been pregnant or given birth or who may get pregnant or give birth in the future?
- Living in Ontario?
If you answered yes to the above questions you are invited to participate in an interview on the topic of health care during the childbearing years.
We are interested in hearing your experiences and thoughts about the care you have received or would like to receive in pregnancy, birth and in the early days after birth. We want to hear from you regardless of whether or not you used midwifery care.
Interviews will last 1.5-2 hours. In appreciation of your time, you will receive $30.00. American Sign Language and live captioning can be offered upon request. Interviews will be done by telephone or online via Zoom. We ask that those interviewed online select a private location to ensure that the interview is not overheard or seen by those not participating. The interview will be audio recorded. We are seeking 10-15 participants.
